My cousin cleaned my computer out because it had a virus by downloading windows xp but now the wireless antenna light on the back doesn’t come on.

I can’t get on the internet. I don’t have the disk it comes with because I bought this pc second hand. It’s a Belkin wireless.

google computerhope.com, find your way to the chatroom there (registration not needed, just jump in the room) sometimes its a bit dead there but if you keep checking back through the day you should find a good helper, dont just say hi and wait for a response, tell them the problem straight off so when they look in theyll start helping you
Tux2 and computerhope are my fave helpers but there are others there just as good
I dare say all you need are drivers but I have to go to work and dont have time to try to help right now, besides the helpers on computerhope are much more efficient than me
i’ll check up on you when I get home and if you havnt had hlp then I’ll jump in and try to help you :)

I’d agree with the guy above. Sounds like your cousin did a full reformat and forgot to install the cards drivers.

Was the computer bought pre-built from a manufacturer (HP, Dell, etc.)? if so, what’s the model number? Maybe we can figure out what card you have in there so we can get you the appropriate drivers.

Actually, just read the tags, looks like you know it’s a Belkin card. Just click the link below and see if you can find the drivers yourself.
