For someone someday to ask what or why, and for you’re life to satisfy an answer.

you mean satisfy as an answer? or to satisfy an answer? if the latter. . . what answer?
satisfy with an answer would be more like it. there’s plenty of ways to answer a question, but not all of them are very satisfying.

yeah but thats not what im talking about. its like if i said “i know whats x+2″ and you say “yeah its 2+x” thats not raelly an answer thats just saying the same thing again.
well if your life can’t provide a satisfactory answer to any question about anything (you, humanity, the universe, pants, rubber duckies, anything) then you have failed at life in my opinion… it doesn’t matter what the question is.. when you try to get into specifics you end up aiming for a religion.

so how does one know if ones life can answer seemingly arbitrary questions?
ask one yourself? does the answer satisfy you very much? would you rather have better answer, or do you think you could find a better answer somewhere else?

ah so to whatever questions the answer = your satisfaction with your life.
kinda like how in the 80’s everything “rocked”.

hmmmm im not so sure about that. but yeah. except the answer isn’t the only important part when it comes to your personal satisfaction. the question is important too. imagine if your life only answers the question, why do women have abortions, or why did they create the Geneva convention laws. Life can have many meanings, good or bad. but if you want to be satisfied with your life, then you’d better come up with a good question for it to answer.

what if the question is “what is the meaning of life?”
that is always the question though. if the answer is within someone’s life then it has to be the question. unless you are trying to answer why all living things exist, in which case my response is that there is no meaning. it is an order brought to chaos. its like asking the meaning of sand. or the meaning of air.
If you really want to make if philosophical, you shouldn’t stick with something as trivially defined as life. That already has a definition you can look up in a biology text book. It’s a concept we made up to feel superior to our “inanimate” surroundings. In the way you phrase that question the answer for humans would be no different than it is for mold.
The real tricky question is, what is the meaning of existence. Not just human life, but the universe itself. If you’re life can answer that, then you have led one heck of a life.
well. . . now im not going to tell you.
