I am really depressed.

I have no job, not a lot of friends and no purpose in life. Its hard just getting up in the morning and a struggle to get through each day. What should i do?

That’s basically the barenaked structure of everyone’s lives.
You have to be the one who makes it a little less dull and monotone and a little more spontaneous.
Stupidly spontaneous…

I was recently fired from my job, I was fairly successful and had a great pride in my career. This has devastated me. i dont want to see anyone, do anything or go anywhere. Its been pretty tough trying to find a job, too which has made me feel worse overall….You are not alone.

So are you really pregnant? Or are you just making up posts as you go along?

I don’t think they’re the same person though.

That is sound advice. Life is very difficult, a lot of the time. What matters is that you don’t let it drag you down into an endless spiral of depression. This is difficult when you have nothing to do with your day, as waking up in the morning truly does feel worthless. Try and fill your day with at least one ‘accomplishment’ - something that you can say made the day worthwhile. This can be a task, like learning an instrument or a language, or excercising to achieve a better body, but it’s something that you can progress over time.

Try and do productive things like searching for a job, because as soon as you find one, your social life and self-worth will sky rocket.

Most importantly, don’t let the days just slip away into oblivion. DO something. You won’t reach your perfect life tomorrow. But you can take steps towards it everyday.

Good luck :)

I just asked her on the other post. So even if she is, that’s OK. We can still help.
