I recently recieved a business proposal from XTO Monitoring & Research Group A Division Of XTO Energy INC.

My question is, Is this a legitament company and proposal.

Contact the Better Business Bureau. They will tell you about the company.

I too have received a business proposal from XTO Monitoring & Research Group. Has anyone found anything out? I can’t find anything on BBB or the web.

It’s a scam, don’t do it. If it was a real business you would be able to find some kind of information on them. Google search mystery shopper scams or snopes.com: secret shopper scams… cash a check, wire money, figure out check was counterfeit, and you’re stuck paying the bill.

I received a check from them and i call the number and the lady hung up on me, so if i cash the check it is no go. Has anyone reported them to the BBB. My letter stated that I would be a Mystery Shopper, when I called the number back and spoke with someone this is the information that I was given fro Western union did anyone else received this same information send the money to Victoria Lewis 8489 Page Ave. NY,NY 10001. Let me know we can do something about this scam.

I went in to look up XTO Engery and it is a Oil Company
