Halloween Ideas

I want to throw my very first Halloween Party!
But Ive never even been to one before so I need some ideas to pull off a really effective one, keeping in mind this will be for pubescent children (about 10-12) and I like the bargain basement so cheap but effective is what im looking for
Food, games and decorating tips anyone???

Hey hun, its me :)
I would say get hold of a Pumpkin, there fun to cut the middle out of and then shape a scary face and then just add a candle in the middle. For dressing up, well use powerdered make up, greens, browns and blacks are effective - make the kids look like vampires and zombies. if you have white face make up, make them into ghosts. Use old sheets etc to make them look like ghosts.

General house hold looks can range from simple candles to fake cobwebs (i use a glue gun that melts the glue into stringy cobwebs). I know black lights are perhaps a little expensive, but they make things look great as they make whites etc show up bright.

Perhaps make cakes etc and use food colouring to make them look spooky etc.

There are tons of ideas. It doesn’t have to be scary scary, but it can be given the mood of creepy :)

As Halloween is coming, have you had any idea for this ceremony? Put on the cosmetic clothes rented from the shops is what the kids do. Why not try to make your own cosmetic clothes then?
First of all, you should know what the most scared thing in this world is for your friends. To me, the body escaped from the mortuary is the most horrible thing in this world. So I decided to perform as a dead body in the Halloween. And there are so many choices for you, such as the monster, the wizard or the mummy. It is up to you, or I should say, it is up to your friends.
Secondly, you should know clearly what the role you are going to act as wears. If you just want to be the mummy, you should buy lots of bandages. As I want to be the dead body, I should prepare a set of hospital clothes—- it could be the clothes nurse wears or doctor wears, because the only clothes the dead body could find is that. Here is a tip for you if you want to perform as a dead body: do not forget the wristband, as every body would have the wristband with numbers. A white a href=”http://www.ybuw.com/Wristbands/Customwristbands.asp”>rubber wristband /a> could be perfect. Do not forget tying the number card with the wristband.
Then the make-up is also very important. If you want to be the lycan, you could not color your face white. The hook nose is the necessary part for wizard, unless you just want to be the beautiful wizard who uses her charm to seduce men. A black cat and the broom could not be missed in the wizard set. The fizzy gloves and shoes are for lycans while the bloodless check and sharp teeth are for vampires. For me, the bloodless face, terrible wounds and hypostasis could strengthen the effect.
Are you ready now? It is time to make your friends scream.

actually, I already have my costume set…
I’m going with the classic witch
teased hair, green face with a strategically placed wart, black clothing that drapes, boots and the one hint of color, red striped long socks :)
