Eating help: Calorie Counter. - Help.com

Calorie Counter.

I’ve been cutting down my calories, making sure I have only 1500 a day. Because that much won’t effect my weight. I weigh 45kgs, and it’s not that I’m worried about getting fat, I just don’t want my weight to go over 47-48kgs. I’m terrified.

But what is concerning me now is that eating 80grams of food makes me feel sick. I ate pasta this morning and it was 400-and-something cals. I felt sick eating it. Only 80grams. Last night we had toasted sandwiches - I don’t even know how many cals that is. But I felt like throwing up after eating one quarter. My friend told me that I’m fast slipping back into old habits.

I’ve been on this calorie-cut-down for like a week, and I keep feeling sick, but I can’t bring myself to up my cals.

I keep passing out and getting bad head aches, but I can’t.

My daily food is generally 240cals for breakfast, leaving me 1260cals for the rest of the day.

I know it’s not healthy. But I don’t see much that wrong with it.

I think I need help though, because I keep making my intake lower, healthier (like eating only fruit). I’m scared that I’ll get anorexia or bulemia again. I could barely take it last time. I’m too scared to ask for help from my friends.

Please help.

Honey, you’re 99 pounds…
I dont measure my foods by grams, but I know how you feel..I’m not an anorectic, but I’m my bmi has already fallen in the Underweight category.
I thrive off of this ****, but I’m also too chicken to grab the rope instead of falling- Only because I know my mom would be ashamed & hate me more.
I’m not sure what your bmi is, but yeah.. I’m sorry if I dont help at all, I just want you to know that I know how you feel & that I hope you are fine.
BTW- I atleast have a bottle of diet soda or juice with me at school. I have major dizzy spells considering I avoid the lunchroom because I don’t like being surrounded, but it helps…me atleast. Try?
If you’re scared- write a letter. If you’re too scared to write letter-think of why you would want help & shove yourself. Reasons why, reasons if, etc…
Best of luck, Be safe, & I hope you are fine…
xoxo

Eat more for breakfast, and you will find your appetite increases. that is not enough food to sustain your weight on.
you cannot stomach the food because your stomach has shrunk. increase it gradually.

I haven’t been able to eat breakfast for years. I feel sick when I do so.

if you dont eat breakfast, your metabolism gets sluggish, and whether youre trying to lose weight or maintain or whatever, not eating breakfast is making that about 500 times harder.

She(?) has a point, Saffle. Maybe if you force it down the nausea would go away? That happens to me alot- but only because I’m super slow & always have to eat during my last 10 minutes. Maybe tilting your head back while swallowing water will calm it.
OR maybe it’s the multi-vitamin you take (do you take any?). People say you’re not supposed to take Centrum on an empty stomach & I never did but I felt sick anyways so I switched to the chewables.

its just a matter of not being used to it. i never used to eat breakfast, but i trained myself to, by eating small amounts at a time.

so eat less to begin with. or try the drinks for breakfast they have out.
bodies are made to eat in the morning, unless you have a medical problem you can handle it.

It looks like you are eating too many carbs!! Try eating more protein based meals. Not only are they lower calories but they are lower fat and wont fill you up soo much that you feel ill.
