I need a new band to listen to. I listen to all sorts of music, I dont like rap or hip hop to much.

Some random bands. I chose mostly indie bands that might be a lot different from what you usually hear.

Animal Collective - My favorite. They’re very different, kind of weird. Their style and sound varies greatly from album to album, so there really isn’t a particular song that wholly represents them. Here’s one of their more popular songs from their newest record.

Meshuggah - Hahah ok so this band is definitely not for everyone. They employ all sorts of messed up time signatures, polymeters, polyrhythms and other fun stuff to make some seriously messed up metal. Usually the drums keep a steady 4/4 beat with the cymbals while the other instruments do something retarded like 25/16. I like alot of different types of music. Metal is yes one of them. And non-english lyrics I don’t mind. I listen to alot of japenese music that doesn’t have english lyrics in them.
