How to stay happy when things go wrong..

I think one need to take the chances given by change and make the best of it.

It looks like i´m gonna be loosing my house because of my illness… This may not necessary be a bad thing. I got places i can go so i´m not ending up on the street or anything. i´m also thinking that a change of scenery could be good. It might be what i need..

Even though i manage to see light in this dark tunnel i think about all the issues to be resolved. I guess my biggest problem is that i think too much. Maybe a more “happy go lucky” attitude is for the better.

I´m not asking for any help. I just needed to share…

Just think that there’s always another day and there will always be new horizons to explore and maybe places to start over.

Keep smiling!

hey dear
i know what you mean
over thinking situations can be both curse or blessing
after a while you realize that much thinking didn’t make any sence..but still do it
well the truth is i still don’t know how to get rid of it..if i get to any realization i’ll let you know
and about the things..you see them pretty positively, so it shouldn’t be any problem:)
just keep your head up and hold on to the good moments/things:D

littlenick, if you don’t mind I am going to borrow that site for another user that may help. Thanks for sharing.
And grim, life is full of changes both good and bad, it’s all how you decide to handle it that makes all the difference.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

There is a Taoist story of an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit.

“Such bad luck,” they said sympathetically.

“We’ll see,” the farmer replied.

The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses.

“How wonderful,” the neighbors exclaimed.

“We’ll see,” replied the old man.

The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune.

“We’ll see,” answered the farmer.

The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son’s leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out.

“We’ll see” said the farmer.
