High school help: Hi - Help.com

Hi

I am currently a junior in a high school in NY. I planned on graduating a year early. i would be 16 at that time. However, I will have all my 44 credits and regents passed. But should I stay for another year and take AP classes and get college credits or not because I will be done with all my graduation requirements by the end of this year. My GPA is 87 (3.2) and I have all regents passed above 80 except global history-73.
Please help me out and suggest what I should do because I am confused.
PS: my guidance counselor says I should take it easily and stay another year
my family wants me to graduate a year early
Or should I graduate a semester early?????

stay. youll never get to have that last year at high school again, and the last year is always the best. leaving early and going to college will mean youre 2-3 years younger than everyone else there, and will most likely feel pretty isolated.
lawd, youre only 16. try slowing things down a bit, youve got years ahead of you, and graduating early really isnt going to give you any advantage.

If you can get college credits for free go for that.
