I’m sorta sad….have some anxiety….can’t - Help.com

My 8 year old son just got admitted to the hospital. He’s a sick lil’ guy :(

And even know I know that it’s the best place for him to be…..it’s hard to deal with :(

My husb is at the hospital overnight; I’m home with our 4 and 6 year old…and I can’t sleep

Thank you, livingjs4u. I ended up leaving after I posted that b/c he wanted me to spend the night with him at the hospital.

No, he’s going to be there for a few days. He’s pretty sick. We have medical equipment at home that he was not responding to the treatment at home

:) Thanks, Shytita. My 8 year old son ended up in the hospital, and the day he was released from the hospital, I was admitted for pneumonia. In the meantime, my 7 year old daughter and 4 year old son were sick, as well (just not ‘hospital’ sick) This is the first evening I’ve been up and out of bed…finally cooked a dinner and did some laundry.

I am grateful that we are all getting better.

Yeah. He’s sleeping now. Today was his first day back at school for the full day. He’s sporting his bruise from the IV, showing all the kids in third grade :s.

I was sick, too, though, and had to be hospitalized and then isolated from my three kids. (I have my 8 year old son, a 7 year old daughter, and a 4 year old son)…anyway, today I was finally able to be around them. I cooked dinner and played a game with them :) It was a nice evening. They are all now sleeping soundly. Hopefully we have lots of antibodies built up for the rest of the sick season so that we don’t catch anything else!! :)

Yikes. I just noticed that I wrote that I have children ages 4, 6, and 8…and then later, I talk about my 4, 7, and 8 year old. I didn’t lie….

That was sorta true….THE DAY my son was admitted to the hospital, it was my daughter’s 7th bday
