There aren’t too many possibilities … you can diagram out every possible scenario (maybe take you 15 or 20 minutes), and you’ll see that certain starting moves have more possible winning finishes, but still it’s not possible to consistently win against a rational opponent. So then you have to hypnotize them, or spike their drink with losing powder or something.

No it’s a game of chance. Chances are you will either draw or win

YES THERE IS.

Instead of going in the middle.. take a corner. when the o goes, take the opposite corner. depending on what side the o goes, take the side with the least ammount of o’s.

you should be able to figure it out then. there should be 2 ways to win, the o will only be able to stop one side.

EHHM, not quite.

Posibilities
1.

X
O
X

Will end like this if the other players bight.

XOX
XOO
OXX

If he’s stupid he’ll indeed do this

X X
O
O X

It’s a game of chance, if both players are alert all games will end tied.

It is some level of chance.. but more often that not you’ll get it. just try seem very confident. that’s what it’s all about. the second you let the other person know he’s on top you’ll start losing, your moral will go down. It’s the same with most things..

isn’t it just good to taste a defeat and victory? anyway, it’s gonna be boring if you win everytime so nobody like to play tic tac toe with you

Tic-tac-toe is a zero sum game, meaning that if both opponents play the optimum strategies, all games will end in a tie. It’s not a game of chance, like poker, where you can still lose even if you use the correct strategies.

This is off-topic, but poker is a zero-sum game. If one person wins 5 dollars, another person loses 5 dollars. (+5 + -5 = 0) ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero-sum )
