On my laptop i can’t pull up the reg?

Why is that? I have vista? I’ve tried pulling it up with admin power but still doesn’t work… what is wrong with my registry? what do i need to do to fix it?

well… i changed something about it about a year ago, but i never backed up my files before i did it so i’m not sure what i did but whatever i did now makes my computer shut down at random times and things are always coming up in little boxes saying something stopped working.

Sorta, but not really. I usually know my way around the computer pretty well, but I messed up somewhere. It usually says hard processing stopped working or superfetch.

rite i think that mite be more to do with services not the registry but i cant question if you know for sure that you did something to the registry however i would check all essential windows processes and check for a virus, these may not be problems but always a good idea, also id take a look at some form of registry repair program as hard processing is something to do with processes duh lol no if youve got vista then it mentions hard faults in performance monitor so its to do with memory and the processes that use it, superfetch is somewhat different as it collects data from hardrive or cache and dumps it into memory for use like realtime use ya know, a change in ram or ram upgrade could also cause this problem in this instance therefor as a solution to that problem id check the ram is compatible if it has not been changed/upgraded etc then id go back to looking at registry mechanic or something like that to figure out whats gone wrong or alternatively look through local machine resources in the registry

hope this helped im not sure if it will but thats how it sounds
