Why they should legalize pot.

First and foremost, it would help make not so crowded prisons, saving us a whole crapload of taxpayer money that could be used to help our economy in this time of need. Also, it’s about the least lethal drug out there. Much less lethal than some of those other snorting or smoking drugs. And finally, just a flat out fact: people who want to smoke pot whether it be their first time or 20,000th time, are going to do it whether it’s legal or not. If laws stopped people from doing pot, then maybe it would do some good to make it illegal, but no one is going to NOT smoke pot just cuz it’s illegal. whether it’s legal or not, the people who do it and are bound to do it will continue to do it. What’s your opinion on all of this?

If alcohol were to be invented today, it would be illegal. Alcohol causes more problems than pot.
