computer help: I’ve got two computers in my house. - Help.com

I’ve got two computers in my house.

I would like to play the same mp3 or whatever on both of them at the exact same time so I can continue to hear the audio when I walk between the rooms. I’ve killed a bunch of time with Icecast http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icecast and I’m not even sure if it’s intended use fits my scenario. Any suggestions on software that would work? They are both Windows computers. I am interested in listening to some public radio podcasts.

Sure get yourself some wireless speakers then you will be able to hear whatever when you walk between rooms. Hope this helps :-)

That is definitely an option. I don’t think it’d be worth the price for my needs though.
I did just try putting my mp3 player in my pocket and putting on my massive gaming headphones. That worked pretty well, actually.

Thanks for the idea though!
