the myan calender was a big circle…the circle was only so big..they had to stop the calender whenever they ran out of room on the circle…i mean if the circle had been bigger the world would end in 2015 or whatever.

the same thing was suppost to happen in 2000. then it was suppost to happen is 2006. so, every 6 years apparently, this will happen. i think its just something made up my the goverment to destract us from the bigger picture. just like the global warming crap!

That’s why enviromentalists are now worried about another ice age, which will happen eventually…probably the next 100 years or so.

global warming refers to the AVERAGE increase in the surface temperature of the earth over the past odd century.the average surface temp of the earth has risen 1 degree C in just the last hundred years. this results in upsets in the atmospheric makeup, greenhouse gases and other such pivotal portions of the environment that make our fragile ecosystem able to sustain life the way it does.
as the surface temp increases, and the atmosphere is upset, natural disasters become more frequent. weather systems become more unstable.polar ice caps melt, spread, then refreeze in the unstable weather systems. THAT is why they are worried about another ice age-this follows the EXACT same pattern as the earth did before the last ice age. however due to the way we have treated the planet, we have sped up that process exponentially.
no, it will not happen within the next 100 years. that is doubtful. the next thousand, far more likely. if we continue to treat the earth as we do.

emm…a few reasons i guess? petrol companies make an epic amount of money, so if everyone suddenly switched to biodiesel, theyd be ****** in the ****.
everyone who drives would need to buy new cars…hella expensive…
maybe its not as efficient?
