I had this guy friend in 4th grade (I’m in 9th now) and I might have found him on facebook.

I was thinking of sending him a message saying what school we went to, what state we lived in, etc. I found an old picture of him, and he seems to match what he looks like today. But… should I send this message? What if it isn’t him? I just gave that info out to a stranger. What should I do?

You should make sure that its really him before you go & give them some important info… Or you don’t have to give him any info.. You could be like

“Hey.. You remind me so much of a friend i had back in the 4th grade. And I was just wondering if you were that same person. sorry to bother you though if it isnt.”

I recently had this experiance wiith my step-sister.. she changed her name and died her hair so it was really difficult to tell.. Hope this helps!! :D

this is no big deal. im friends with a few people i havent talked to in years. request him, but dont send any extra information. if he accepts, then look at more of his pictures and info to make sure its him, then post some of your info to try to reconnect with him.
