Ok so this is kind of a stupid question but…
When we were still together, my now ex-boyfriend and I had a fight. He left my house, and then called me. I told him that I didn’t want to be with him anymore. But then I had a lapse in judgment when it all started to hit me, and went to him and told him that I didn’t mean it. I only said that I didn’t mean it because I wasn’t thinking clearheaded at the time. He did not want to get back together. Once I began thinking clearly, I realized that was what I wanted (to remain broken up). I don’t even know why I said I wanted to work things out. So does that mean that I dumped him… because I was the first one to say that “I don’t want to be with you anymore? Or did he break up with me… because I had a lapse in judgment and THOUGHT I wanted to get back together (I think I only thought this because it hit me all at once that it was all over) and he said no? Or would you say that it was mutual?
We were together for 2 and a 1/2 years.
