I’m getting married next month.

My brother is getting married in December. I am completely broke trying to pay for my wedding, but I am my brother’s fiancee’s maid of honor. Any ideas as to how I can throw her an inexpensive but nice shower? (she is also one of my bridesmaids, but didn’t have money to buy the dress or shoes, so i bought them for her)

Why not throw a joint bridal shower for the both of you? If you’re both each other’s maid of honor, you’re probably fairly close.

I’m a guy, so I honestly don’t know if this is against the rules or not, but a joint one seems like an easy way to cut the expenses.

Best of luck with your wedding and marriage!

lol thanks. my shower was last month (she didn’t go). she’s not my maid of honor, but a bridesmaid. that would’ve been a great idea though!

Have it at your house or apartment or whatever. invite friends. buy snacks and play games. there are lots of games for bridal showers that costs nothing or next to nothing. buy inexpensive prizes at your local dollar store. picture frames, journal, etc. hope this helps some.
