i was in the same boat, so i broowed some books from the library and did it myself, it was surprising that i was building a great website in less than a week. i had the books for 3 weeks (just returned them today) and i have no problems creating the beautiful website i needed, if you get stuck, a quick internet search for the problem will give lots of solutions, good luck
