I want to find a way to not work a regular 9-5 but

still have a stable income based on the experience and education that I have but I just dont know where to begin. I have a bachelors in political science, a certificate in conflict resolution, and soon will have a Masters in International relations. I like being around people, I love to cook, travel, but I need to have my family with me. I am recently married and expecting our first child at the end of the month. I have ideas, teach online (is it likely with only a masters?) do something that involves food (party planning, menu guidance, recipe development - all are interesting). I have years experience working in restaurant and customer service and currently I work in an office environment where I manage bill paying, travel booking, meeting set-up, database entry, multi-line phones, office paging, Editing and some (but very little) writing. My writing skills however are quite good (personal opinion, of course, but have gotten lots of one-one feedback saying as much.) I’ve dealt with mountains of paperwork processes, obtaining a green card for my Italian husband, and dealt with moutains of paperwork just coordinating leave from my current job, so I like to think that I can be very organized as well. How can I get away from the office doldrums? I enjoy work, but I want time to be with my family and travel - and in this day, age and technological capability I dont see why i cant do it all.

If you ask me, Internet Marketing sounds like the perfect job for you. Many people who started Internet Marketing started from a position similar to yours, where they wanted to spend more time with their families and to have an extra source of income without putting in too much work.

There is an online accredited studies website solely dedicated to training Internet Marketers. It’s called Wealthy Affiliates. If you truly are the person who you described to be on your post, I think the job is a more then likable match: http://tinyurl.com/yahnsan.

Any questions, feel free to ask me here.

That’s why I suggested Internet Marketing. It’s not just affiliate marketing, it’s starting your own business online. You start of small and eventually go large.

My friend is a single mom and started a successful bookkeeping business from home. There are always posts on craigslist searching for bookkeepers, plus you could network at chamber meetings, etc. If you are good, word of mouth could take care of the rest.
