Why does Slash no longer use his traditional “Dirty Tone”?
In Guns N’ Roses & Slash’s Snakepit he used the most awesome tone ever, generated from his Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Pickups & A Marshall Amp (Not to mention played beautifully) and I’ve noticed in both of Velvet Revolvers albums and on things like TV interviews and other live things like that, he doesn’t use the traditional dirty tone, I’m just wondering why?
Velvet Revolver would be SO much more awesome if he used that tone..It’s a real shame, it really is.
Just wondering if any of you guys had any ideas why?
Any input appriciated.
