Please Help!

Ok so I have a boyfriend who I went out with for about a year and a half, but we broke up for a few weeks and it was torture in te beginning, but it started becoming a little easier to cope with. We still talked as friends and even when we broke up we talked about how we might end up getting back together. So we did and now we’ve been together for a couple of weeks so far since then. I gave him another chance because he said he was really going to change and things were going to be different and I wanted to give him at least a second chance because otherwise I would have regretted it.
Things are a little better, but at the same time its kind of a bad thing. Before we used to actually spend a good amount of time together and now we hardly talk or hang out at all, just once in a great while, it seems like we’re not even like going out anymore. I’ve been talking to my brother’s friend that comes over to jam with them because their in a band. We’ve been talking as friends, but we just actually got a little bit of time to hang out yesterday and Idk I think I may be starting to like him because he has a great personality and he’s not boring at all. My boyfriend gets boring kind of easily because he doesn’t talk about much on the phone or when we’re together and he kind of treats me like crap in public.
Idk what to do, I’m starting to like this kid and I’m having problems with my boyfriend. So one side of me says to break up with my boyfriend and get to know this kid more, but one side reallly really loves him more than anything and I don’t want to let him go for anything. Because this is the last time we’re going to go out, I even told him that I’m not going to go through all of that again just to go back out again like a billion times and have that happen over and over again. So idk what to do, and you guys this other kid is really funny and nice and idk something about him is just awesome. But like I said then again I don’t want to break up with my boyfriend because I want to give it time and I really really love him. But I dont want to be talking to some other kid while going out with my boyfriend because I know how that would feel if he was doing that with another girl while going out with me.
