My boyfriend is obnoxious.

Most of my friends either hate him, think he’s annoying, or think we aren’t good for each other. I know we have our differences, but I’m trying to give him a second chance. and I don’t know what to do about him. Help!

He acts the way he does to achieve his needs. Find out what need his behaviour fills and find some other way for him to fulfill it.

I just think he might be too immature, and when we dated before he was the same way. I thot he’d matured some, but its like the same thing all over again. The difference is that I dont want to hurt him again, cuz he’s goin through a lot right now, and i don’t want to say the wrong thing and make him even more unhappy.

I know you don’t want to hurt him but just make sure you address things that need to be talked about. If a conversation doesn’t seem to do anything, I would think about what you want for the future and if he can meet your expectations. Sometimes people have unresolved issues they bring into relationships and end up ruining the relationship in the process.
