Use a pair of pliers or even scissors to pinch the top of the plug, where the chain used to attatch and pull it out.

Find a bucket and disconnect the drain from underneath. Then use something to force it up from underneath.

Bail the water out of the bath/sink with a bucket into a bath/sink…. then once all gone or nearly all gone…. you need to apply force to one side of the plug to lift the other side of the plug…. it won’t work with water in the bath because of the weight of the water pushing down on the plug

The prong of a fork should do the trick…. if not use a very thick darning needle…. thick because you don’t want it to snap….

worse comes to worse…. thread a needle with some wool…. push through the eye and pullboth ends of the wool….just pull the plug out

Drain the water. Drill a hole through it. Then use a wire shirt hanger, curve the end of it and pull it out.

Not sure i would want to be drilling a hole through a plug with a tap right next to me….lol… Big bang with one false move…lol…. But then i am rubbish at anything that even hints at DIY…lol
