I have been friends with this guy for a few months now.
I talk to him everyday for hours on the computer and sometimes on the phone. He’s my best friend.. but I also have feelings for him. I wouldn’t call these feelings love, since I’m only fourteen.. but I do like him a lot. He’s eighteen, but he’s not like one of those older guys that just want to have sex with you and leave you. He does have a girlfriend he’s been with for almost two years, who is eighteen. But he tells me that she’s a ***** and stuff. He says stuff like “Oh you’d never go out with me if me and my girlfriend broke up”. Then I’d say yes I would then he’d say “I bet me and my girlfriend are going to break up soon, we’ve been going out for too long.” I hang out with him all the time, but he’s shy. When we talk he calls me beautiful and cute and stuff. But about two of the times we’ve hung out his girlfriend was there also. I know she doesn’t like me. My friends tell me I should go out with him because he probably likes me. But I’m not sure because he seems pretty happy with his girlfriend when I see hem together. He always wants to hang out with me, even when I’m too tired or sick. He’ll say stuff like if you’re tired I’ll sleep next to you and if you’re sick I’ll make you feel better. I’ve only had four boyfriends before, but only two of the relationships were real. The longest one I’ve been in was a year and a half.
I really like this guy a lot. But if I tell him I like like him and not just think he’s cute if him and his girlfriend do break up and he doesn’t like me back.. I don’t want to ruin our friendship. He makes me really happy and he tells me I’m the only person that makes him happy. He gives me advice on what to do when I have a problem. I’m really weak on trying to get with someone I actually LIKE. So good advice would help. :D
