yes, because you found out how to stop. As a matter of fact, there isn’t a better person to tell him to stop, because you know how!

if you dont cut anmore then i think you do. if you tell him and he comes back with a remark like “you used to cut so why cant i?” then say something like “yes i used to cut so that means i know hat you’re getting youself into”. or if doesnt want to stop then just tell him that you’ll be there for him because you know how it is. plus since youve done it you may know how hes feeling when so you may be able to tell when it gets too serious and then you could tell someone who will help him when it does get too serious
