If only the tape is broken and not the cassette, you may be able to find a tape repair device (I had one years ago and repaired may tapes). It provides a special holder, cutter and clear tape to join the tape back together.

lol, i have all the songs from it, atleast most of them on my hard drive already.
it’s the tape that i’m pissed about, the actual cassette that i’ve had since 15 that’s gotten me through so many hard times :/
