Tech help: MAJOR HELP. - Help.com

MAJOR HELP.

So i have Windows Vista DELL DOCK.Yes, it comes with some icons but i want different ones. Every time i try and download some and try and use them.. it doesn’t work :( PLEASE HELP. Give me some links to sites that the icons actually work.
