just need a moment to vent - my brother has a rare

and usually quickly lethal form of cancer and is in a very aggressive chemotherapy regiment that is experimental at best - he is responding very poorly to one of the mixtures and has been in incredible pain and discomfort for weeks. we are very close, he is my only sibling and we faced some very tough things together growing up. My heart is breaking that he is suffering so and I am sure he must be terrified and I am just having a moment where its too painful and overwhelming. Its tearing my parents up, his wife and brand new baby, it is just so incredibly scary and sad.

I’ll say a prayer for you guys. as that is all I can do to help. I can also listen. If you ever want to vent, just shout me. I can’t begin to imagine what it is like for you, and I wouldn’t even want to. I just hope that you get the support you need, and that your brother suffers as little as possible. My thoughts go out to you.

I know that it’s a small comfort for someone who’s going through such a terrible trial, but I’m sure your brother appreciates you being there for him.

I am so very sorry that you and your family have to endure such a horrible event. Hopefully the agressive chemo is just what your brother needs at the moment. After all,lots of cures were experimental in the beginning.Hope is such a hard thing to have in such difficult times and my heart breaks for everyone concerned.Remember though,as long as there is breath,there is HOPE!So hold on to that hope as long as possible.You and yours will be in my thoughts and prayers.
