If you can, get them to give you anasthetic. I went completely under and all I remember was counting back from 100 and then waking up in my bed at home. At the next apointment the nurse (who I didnt remember) said that I was funny and that I was saying “I’m walking on the moon” and “Gimme the keys, mom, Ill drive home”

lolz. dose it involve needles in the mouth? becuase if its in the arm i can withstand that. also, how did you feel afterwords? lots of pain? how long dose the pain last? (pain is on my list of fears, lolz)

if you go in for complete anasthetic, they give you the anasthetic through your arm and you arent aware of anything in your mouth until after the surgery. I was a little sore in my mouth afterware but nothing serious

absolfrigginlutely go for the anaesthetic. mine was just in the arm. its like youre there, but not quite there if you choose to stay awake. i knew what was going on, but it didnt hurt, and i kept sort of drifting off into spaced out thoughts then remembering where i was.
i felt totally fine afterwards, but apparently i was all over the show lol.
pain wasnt that bad at all, but then my wisdoms just popped out. my sister had a very hard time, they had to dig the buggers out and she had stitches and all sorts. so it kind of depends on your teeth really.

the only annoying thing for me was that my teeth were quite sensitive for quite a few months afterwards, but that went away eventually.

wow, thank you guys. so much! after haveing braces for 5 years, this sounds like something not so bad. my teeth hurt now, actually. i just had my braces ajusted. i will even have troubble eating all the ice cream we bought today! lolz. so, yeah thanks guys. scientist, you are very actuve here. you have replyed to almost all of my posts. do you know anything about dinosuars?
