i’m really hairy, and i don’t have enough $!

i’m not writing this to ask for money and i’m serious, it’s not a joke. i just need a place to rant. i’m a girl, 26 and i have really coarse and dark hair. not to say that’s great for the hair on my head, but i mean it’s EVERYWHERE. arms/legs etc etc. i recently started looking into laser hair removal and am appauled by how much it costs!! they say you need like 4-5 treatments(and that’s in average, not coarse hair which is probably more like 5-6 treatments) which comes out to each body part being 1000+!!! i can’t afford that. i have some savings which is why i thought i could do something, but i don’t have enough $ for this obviously. i shave my legs and i shaved my arms once, but it grew out even thicker so i never did it again. all other parts i shave, but doing that every single day has gotten to a point where i don’t care anymore and am ready to go completely natural. hate it!!

thats what shaving does, make it grow back thicker.
you need to wax, that will pull the hair out by the root, and the hair will grow back not as thick and coarse. eventually a lot of hair stops growing back at all.
poor girls alternative to electrolysis lol

waxing is better. just have to let it grow out a bit each time.

but i really feel for you. coz i had eczema which resulted to me using topical steroids. this made my legs really hairy. but i’ve been waxing for a long time and now the hair is pretty manageable.

but i can’t imagine having arm hair though. sigh. but well. if it’s too much hassle just wear long sleeves each time. :)

HEY if you don’t want to wax buy an epilator it’s the best for real. it hurts but only the first few times then it’s not noticeable at all. and the hair takes a long time to grow back. plus you can do it whenever you like, in your privacy and no humiliation lol but i don’t know about the back you may need help. it’s so great especially on your hands and legs, but i use it everywhere else too. but other than that it’s an awesome thing to have, the good ones cost a bit more [ try to get one with massage thing attached or ice cause it helps a lot] but it’s worth it.

Waxing helps, and i find that using some brands doesnt hurt as much, also, if you do it straight after a cold shower, it makes it much better! hehe. also, you get hair removal cream which i hear works quite well. good luck!

also, hair removal cream will just make the hair come back thicker too, thats like shaving.
but ya some brands of wax, or waxers if you want to get someone else to do it, hurt less than others.
certain times of the month hurt less too.
