So, wish me luck!

I plan to call a local school at 3:40 today to tell the school about my tutoring services.

A little background on me is that I hate talking on the phone, I’ve been told that I sound like a kid. I’m really more of an introvert and the thought of calling makes me feel sick. But I’m going to anyway because I think the school may recommend me to students who are having difficulty.

good luck! I have problems with talking to people on the phone too. Especially people that I don’t know! but hey, I think you were the only person that actually called CBS (the only person that said anything about it anyways) so I think you can do this!

Practice before you call. Make your voice sound deeper and more mature.

In the futture, try to change the tone of your voice by you taking voice or enunciation lessons. Just a thought.

You know a friend of mine tutors as well…
She does it through a tutoring service, so she dosent have the trouble of contacting people. They do it for her…

Yeah, this is going to be me. I’m starting by tutoring myself but working up to having others tutor for my business, too, with me getting a chunk of the $. :)

So weird report - sorry everyone for the false alarm.

Just before calling I was praying about it and got a weird feeling about it like I shouldn’t do it and not the usual I’m scared of making phone calls feeling. I felt like I should go pray about it with my husband and I did and we both felt like the timing isn’t right for some reason so I will leave this idea for now and come back to it in a few weeks.

I prayed that God will give me an opportunity. Like maybe I could talk with a teacher there at church or something…
