http://www.gotquestions.org/Islam.html#

Gives a very good explanation of Islam. The question you ask has been asked for centuries without answer so I’m sorry but I doubt you will get one on here. You and your friend have to decide whether or not you will accept each other for your religions.

Well, in my view…
There is only one God and most religions worship him, but in their own way.
As long as there are no idols most people will be worshiping the same God.

And if you look in the Bible according to saint Paul, it is ok to marry people of other religions as long as you believe and follow your beliefs… You should also look at King Solomon regarding these things(he had wives from diferent religions and all)… and also Jesus when he said no one can serve two masters as he would hate one and love the other…

Now of my understanding of Sikhism they also believe in one God and Guru Nanak is their main prophet or priest…

So guessing you shouldnt have too much of a prob…

Doesn’t say that, actually. The Bible says:

2 Corinthians 6
14Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15What harmony is there between Christ and Belial[b]? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?

1 Kings 11:4
4 As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father had been.

What it means is that if you are a Christian you cannot be another religion, too. You can’t believe in God and a different god.

well, thats what you are saying isnt it.
that your religion is the best, so you can only believe in the one.
dont try and trick her into believing something that is not true, tell her how it really is.
