f=(3,5),(-7,7)(-5,9)

ANSWER IN AN ORDERED PAIR…

*pretend when i say f inverse that it looks like f with a raised -1 next to it.

You have written that f describes some elements of a set; not a continuous set or a function; so there is no function which can be inverted to map the range back to the domain.

If you mean that f={(3,5), (-7,7), (-5,9)} then all this means is that f(3)=5, f(-7)=7 and f(-5)=9 and f is not defined on any other values. ie. the domain of f is {3, -7, -5} and the range (and in this case codomain) of f is {5, 7, 9}.

So to find f inverse just reverse the ordered pairs (f inverse maps the range of f onto the codomain in such a way that f inverse of f is the identity map) and the rest should be obvious from this.
