IP Address Help needed!

! I’m trying to get my 2nd laptop on my home network, but the only think I can find that might be holding things up is that my IP address on the other machine is all zeros…. what can I do about that?

the address is all zeros ie ooo.ooo.ooo.oo.oo whatever… just change the last three? How do I get in there to do that?

ok I did that - I took the IP from the one computer and changed the last two areas, and put it in the new one and it’s still not working. Any other ideas?

try setting it automatic discovery instead, rather than manual and it should do it for you.
otherwise, try resetting your modem, coz your IP shouldnt be all 0’s

go to applications, email set up. it will guide you from there.
