How do you come up with these? Is there some sort of poem generator in your head?

When it’s the only way to express yourself.

You get creative quickly.

It’s a bit too early for that, at this point.

You write what you feel. It makes the poem closer to the truth. Besides, it wouldn’t ease the heart if you didn’t write about what you feel right now.

I disagree. I think many people would go silent. :)

You could post to www.poetry.com . That way you don’t have to commit to anything.

Ehhm, that brings up another small poem to mind.

I am unable to speak trough voice.
So i choose to speak trough paper.
Let the words calm my senses,
For it’s not a matter of choice.

In the place i was borned and raised.
Discussing feelings and pain is a sin.
You’ll get abused spat on humiliated
Or even to your own end you’ll be chased.

The fear that brings to me, and the pain.
Pain that’s haunted me for 16 years
Slowly consuming me from the inside out.
It’s hard for me to live, dificult for hope to regain.

Legion.

Poem: Pain.

A poem about the deepest kind of pain, the one that scars your soul. by legion.

Pain.

Feelings raging, Tears falling swift.
Pressure on my soul, life adjusted.
Adjusted to fit their views their ideals.
When did I get stuck in this Rift.
Wearing the mask once again.

Scars on my body, Inflicted in fear.
Fear for the world, for myself it all.
A testament to my failures, many.
A witness to how close the end got near.
Death as a salvation a peace.

The pain in my head, tears me apart.
I wish I could kill it, soothe the burns.
Burns of the remains of the man I was.
Feels like it was ripped out, my heart.
A void to fill the hole, damned.

Alone cold, forsaken by my own.
My own heart body, and the soul.
Afraid of the end, wanting to control
The pain is all I’ve ever known.
Living like a shell, rage unfolds.

Eyes now burn, yet the light fades out.
Wandering aimlessly, hiding from fate
Not even death to calm my senses
Not a soul inside to scream out loud.
Senseless life, wasted air fills me.

Now then when there´s nothing to regain.
When all hope is gone, all love fades.
A creature more than a man, hideous.
I realize, I must endure my own pain.
No one to soothe, end my life.

Cold and dark, remains of what was a soul.
Now consumes me from inside, rotten.
Flesh and bone to hide the demon within.
The shattered remains of men, never whole.
Fade away, Drift away. No one cares.

Legion.
