I’m sorry you are going through such a hard time. I hope the diabetes is under control. Children go through stages where they test boundaries and i’m sure you will find that even though your step daughter is testing you at the moment she’ll come good eventually… they normally do! Talk to your wife…. tell her how you are feeling. See your doctor and ask for a referral to a counsellor to see if you can work out the underlying cause of your depression.

I agree with what was already said God loves you and is watching cry to him and he can help.
By the way, Have you stopped looking for a job? If the answer is yes well TRY SOME MORE. If the answer is no, giving it all you got is the best you can do. I have seen many a times where people have filled out applications and come in to talk to the manager about a job. those persistantones who come back and fill it out and come back and fill it out and comeback are the ones who get the jobs.
NEVER give up and do your best. Thats all anyone can ask from you. Do not think any less of yourself for giving it your best. I mean look at the great things you have already accomplished. You have stayed faithful to your wife and her kid, not killing the mother-in-law, have a drive to better yourself and your family. Who never gives up. A man who does these things is a bigger man than those who have everything.
Good Luck my friend
