A frequent correspondent of mine who uses Hotmail inadvertently marked a email of mine as Junk.

He now does not receive any of my emails. We can not find a way to undo this. Can anyone help?

Are you looking for answers about problems with your AOL service?

I’d like to recommend that you ask AOL directly since they are best suited to help you.

For AOL support, you can visit the AOL support site or even call them at an AOL toll free number.

Maybe since you were a frequent correspondent, he actually meant to do it and actually considers your emails junk. He’s trying to tell you something you’re just not to swift and get the hint.

There is way he just does not want to do it.

Take a hint.

Marking it as junk means it goes into the junk folder but you can still read them… for none of your emails to get through to your friend he’s blocked your email address.

I tried to tell him/her that. But I think he/she likes writing emails.

this is what the say under the Protect tab;
‘If you receive spam in your inbox, you can mark it as junk by selecting it and then clicking Junk in the menu bar. This marks the sender as unsafe and moves the message to the Deleted folder.’
Marking the sender as unsafe sound like it blocks future emails from this sender and that appears to be what has happened.

Actually Littlenick’s assumption is along way off given the individual phoned me to ask why I was not responding to his emai., Which I had been. If not Junk then something else is filtering the mail and I would like to hear from someone with less social comment and more useful tech Help.

make him go into that junk folder, find your email (send it again if you have to, junk tends to get deleted at regular intervals, and mark its sender (you) as safe (option available in junk folder) -

after this, all should be well.
