If you could something(one thing) to change the world, what would you do?
This is practically based on the movie Pay It Forward.
Where this 12? year old boy thinks of an idea where someone does a favor for three different people and those people that have been helped, help three new people. Eventually it would spread all over and it could change the world. Does that make sense? l0l well yeah, that’s the movie.
I just want to see what people think about this, it’s a real thinking question.

Its not a matter of thinking about it or questioning it, its a matter of just doing it! I have been giving flowers(mostly roses) to strangers for 13 years as a hobby and I love it. I do it for the reactions which are mostly smiles and it makes me feel good to do it.
Search youTube for an interview I did on my “hobby” after a certain someone I gave a rose to turned out to be a news reporter. She asked about a dozen questions about how it started, why I do it and where. When I told her it was a hobby and told her the history of how I got started doing it she then said she was a reporter and asked for the interview.
Search “Flowers for Strangers”
Wow, that’s great
I’m only 15, but when i get a little older i want to think of something that could possibly change the world and put smiles on peoples faces.
Have you ever seen Pay It Forward? It’s a great movie, though the ending is very sad.
That’s a very nice thing that you do
Lol
as soon as I saw your heading I jumped in to say Pay It Forward, then saw this was already your inspiration
There have been groups founded around the motion of pay it forward and I use it regularly, I know some of the time its ignored and my help is simply taken for granted, but I also know many have taken on the notion and paid it forward
Of course I like to help people with individual circumstances but I also like to just put it out there for just about anyone, my way is to harvest a large crop of veggies every year, mostly seeds are very cheap or I get them straight from last ears crop so it costs me hardly a cent but I’m able to share alot of veggies with alot of people, some I simply offer to people I know are struggling and I also place a few baskets on a table out the front of my house for others to simply come along and pick a few out, and like I had hoped when I first started this, others have come along anonymously and left bags of fruit or veges that I havnt grown, adding to the variety , anyone whos ever asked what they can do in return I always tell them to just remember and help someone else when they see someone in need

That’s really kind of you. You know, you can always go to a homeless shelter and pass out fruits ? Those people are pretty starving and the most they really get is a granola bar.
That’s a smart idea
And pay it forward is a great movie
i’m glad they produced it
make communication easier. it would help all of us with the little things and the people in power with the big things. all problems start with communication

l0l it’s alright, it’s something that could take affect on other people and will inspire them to help others, and so on.
Helping the homeless is something I’ve already been in to for the last few years. The last two Christmas’s I purchased 100 fleece blankets and gave them to a few missions in our provincial capital. This year I am taking a different route and have been buying mitts and socks from eBay. Being that we are in central Canada and have extremely cold winters, I thought it would be a nice thing to get them fleece gloves this year.
Oh and I did see Pay It Forward starring Haley Joel Osment, Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt. It is a great movie but I didn’t care for the ending.

That is true, the homeless do freeze their butts off. Pshh hopefully they treat those garments nicely! l0l
And yeah, i think the ending was sad
but he did his part in the world and took his life for the sake of another being bullied
we dont have a homeless shelter here , we do have a womens and a mens shelter which are utilized by people in crisis including the homeless and thankfully they are well funded to provide good nutrition
I have offered some of my produce to community centers and a food bank we have but they are red taped and cant take food from me cause I may have tainted it :(
but people who struggle have come to know there are free veges available during the summer and its been a good way to get the word out and others have pitched in to supply as well
i would make sure everybody has a chance.the rich would have no more then anyone else.they could help.some do!!!but a lot of them don’t and i would give peace a chance
Can it be impossible?
Oh well, mine is, lol.
I would move all the countries closer :D
Long distance SUCKS.
got ya! the way the world is going who know’s.might just happen.

It’s pretty sad too how some rich people are soo ignorant and selfish, they don’t even consider those who need help.

I think we’d be surprised at how the next ‘great’ power will take over, not with guns or bombs, but with money, member numbers and psychological warfare … Scientology anyone?
