Help me…

I am using windows vista home premium..
but now i cant unhide my hidden files.
while i am applying the properties “show hidden file or folders”, its not applying.
i dont kno wat 2 do………
plz help me.

Well, there’s a chance someone found the files and deleted them!

Try this:
1. Start Button
2. Control Panel
3. Folder Options
4. View tab
5. Check “Hidden files and folders: Show all files and folders”
6. Uncheck “Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)”
7. Click “apply” and then “OK”

If it’s been deleted then try this undelete program: http://www.piriform.com/recuva

Then the files may well be gone or you’re looking in the wrong place. Try a search of your entire hard disk.
The search feature is available in the Start menu. The Advanced feature button lets you supply additional information that can facilitate searches.

Add as much as you can remember and if your search is fruitless, remove some search criteria and try again.

when i am searching using a new window by pressing F3,then i can find it.
but when i wan2 show all hidden file then its not working.
wat 2 do?

i had a troyan, which do same thing. try some programs to find viruses or malware
