All lonely :(
Don’t know what to do. No friends. No one to talk to. No family. No nothing. Just this gaping hole inside of me that’s eating me up like acid.

Hey there!
Truth be told I feel just as lonely as you do.
Where are you now in your life?
To littlenick: There’s no people out here. I’m in UTC+1 so it’s almost 9pm here.
Keckers… I’m in my final year of Highschool (I’m doing the IB so it’s one extra year, yr 13). 17 Yrs old. I’ve been friendless most of my life :(. Meeting people is impossible for me somehow.

Ah gosh you’ve never clicked with anyone ever?
But sooner or later you’ll be going to college right?
It’s a whole start over, a new beginning.
So you’ll be meeting new people and atleast one of ‘em’ll make a good friend.
:D
sometime you have to make the incentive to talk to people. and you need to be open to talk about yourself and relate and keep things appropriate so people do not get offended. meeting people that can really click with you can be hard so dont narrow down. just be nice and friendly to everyone.
I kinda get what you mean…
I’m lonely too. I find it hard to make friends. I’m glad that I’ve got any at all.
Don’t let the emptiness take over. You’ll meet the right people. I’ve found this great site for lonely people lol: alonelylife.com
Check it out. There are nice people there.

Hmm… difficult. Been there. I mean, I can talk to people in school at lunch and stuff, have conversations over meaningless smalltalk and things. But really getting to know people… That’s difficult. But how do I open up without spilling my guts out and letting them decimate me?
Wow Zerosum. That’s awesome. Thanks for the link!

I have problems with this too…that’s why it can be hard to start new relationships. You have to find stuff to bond over first, such as similar interests. Then go places together and experience things together. The “spilling out my guts” stuff comes later.

That, my friend, is life. Risk it, or don’t.
This sounds totally hokey, but be a joiner. Find clubs and groups dedicated to things that interest you. That takes away the need to find something in common with people, because that’s why you’re together in the first place. Then start chatting. No one said it’s easy, but there are also no alternatives.

I’d love to give it a shot, but it’s difficult in my situation. Where I live they all speak French, but my French sucks. I used to be part of a sports team but couldn’t really interact much, then quit. At my school (where people speak English) the sports teams are comprised mostly of jocks that would, to put it lightly, annihilate me. Uhh.. yeah. Not exactly good options.
I’m not sure what to do..or how to phrase it..I feel that looking at my life from an outside point of view, everything seems prosperous..I’m 18, getting ready to choose my college, and have a girl who’s absolutely in love with me. yet I constantly feel out of place and alone. most of my “friends” never try to get in contact with me, and all lead separate lives. I feel that whenever we do talk, it’s because I seek them out. I’m not sure what I’m doing to chase them away, and I don’t wanna constantly be the one who initiates everything..is there..a solution..anyone..
Start having fun and people will come to you! Fill up your day with fun things so it doesnt seem like you arent meeting people… spend more time with your girlfriend… and i bet these ‘friends’ do actually like you your just paranoid and also teenagers tend to just think of themselves and they dont show they care incase of rejection.

Wow. I’m so jealous :( Hah. Hey, at least you have friends. People to talk to and stuff. You even have a girl… what are you complaining of? Be happy, lol.
Life is a lonely place but you know what, you have the power to change it. You be amazed how well people respond when you talk to them. Make it a habit of talking to people just to be friendly. When you walk outside today ask everyone you walk by for the time. This forces you to talk to strangers.
If you are a little shy and can’t talk to people then, I would suggest going online and pratice you migling skills there online. There are a lot of cool sites that you can make friends. I was checking out this cool site the other day called sweetluck.com. You can make friends there and talk to other people looking for friends. The point is to be friendly whether online or offline. Hang in there.
