I just don’t get it.

I am a good person for whom nothing seems to work out. I have been trying to buy a house and have had two bad experiences which have resulted in no house. My ex-husband, who seems to have a horseshoe up his a**, just bought a property he has been after for over 600,000. This guy has slept around, fathered two children (one he abandoned, the other he has made the center of his life)and slams other people verbally. Everything works out for him! I feel like a Schleprock.

i kinda feel the same way but mostly about career. i try so hard to be good at work and at the same time juggle: supporting my family, helping out at the family business, and being generous to relatives. and here come people my age who don’t even financially support anybody, just go out every night and travel, AND get promoted still (due to connections or simply good timing). nothing good seems to happen to me.

but i’ve gotten over these issues. i think the trick is to stop comparing yourselves to others. i know, it’s hard to do it’s practically our nature but it will do you good. plus, realize that not everyone’s life is as we see. we think a lot of people are successful or happy or they get what they want. but you’ll be surprised that they don’t think/feel that way.

i hope you feel better soon. :) life will soon turn out good for you, i’m sure.
