Well honestly I view suicide a waste. I mean I understand misery and the idea that it’s a way out from pain. It’s just that life is special because you only get one go at it. You can cha ge whoyou are though, make connctions with people, and try for a more pleasant existance. Or even this view is sadistic but if you’re going to kill yourself wh not be useful at least and join the military or do some sort of beneficial act so your death isn’t a total waste.

Now I don’t really support the latter of the two options. I think that life is just something you learn from everyday and if you can’t appreciate it just pretend. Pretend you’re somebody else. Act differently for a couple weekes see what happens.

i don’t think pretending to be somebody else helps. you need to find that you’re liked for who you are.
but suicide is no solution, absolutely.

Stop expecting other people to be the ones that validate your life. Only you can create your life to be something worthwhile. Go for it.

I have to agree with the wise words of Raver.

Expecting other people around you to create your sense of value and worth when people are different and even fail themselves just sets you up for a life of misery and destruction.

The thing about being loved is- most people fall short of this one because sometimes the love that is shown is all the person has in them to give, and for most people, the love shown isn’t good enough, and it isn’t in the form we think we need or even want.

I am sorry people have failed you, and haven’t shown you the love and admiration, tenderness and care you needed, but this is not an excuse to sucumb to failure. In fact you have tools now at your feet to know what you DON’t WANT because of your experience, now you can form the tools to help you know and GET what you want, in the form of love, acceptance, reassurance and respect.

Although rejection is a form of loss, it can never although it tries, it can never take away your dignity, that’s up to you.

Throwing your life away to suicide, only allows the negatives that have been in your life to win you over. If you really want to prove to others, and prove to yourself that you are worth it, then live the good life with things that fufill you.

Love is out there in this world, and you can make it happen… sometimes we have to go far to find it, and sometimes its right under our noses… it’s all in what you are willing to focus on and truly see. You’ve had your eyes focused on the bad and the dangerous things for far too long… We’re here to help. Thanks for sharing.

hey, it seems we have a similar issue
I’m trying to get over mine and it’s painful, just try and stay positive, don’t do anything stupid or reckless because the chances are you’ll hurt the people you care aboout more than you will yourself, I’ve learnt that through my own experiences.
Try and get out and about more, when I get really upset or deppressed I go for long walks during the night, it’s surprisingly comforting, there’s nobody about and you have time to think.
You’ll be okay, trust me, it may take a while and some effort but you’ll be fine *hug*

wow…somehow i too feel relief reading this…haha. i’m know how you feel and i felt worse… but dont kill yourself…if you do, you’re putting your life on other people’s hand…not yours… control your life and try to shine… that is what i’m trying to do now…
