I need an answer Please!

What help, if any is out there for a woman with disabilities, both physically and mentally disabled. I have been needing to separate from my husband and have no means what so ever to do this. Where can I start to become independent???

I believe there is an organization here in the US that is called homes for battered women. You might want to talk to them.

I was trying to find something for you the best place I found so far has been O.V.C. Victims with Disabilities , go to the Directory of Crime Victim Services, it sys start here and you will put in where you are located and all the details to help with the search. Also J.A.N. Job Accommodation Network and O.D.E.P. US Department of Labor.
You can contact Mental Disabilities Rights International 202-296-0800
I hope that this will help you to overcome the situation that you are in.

First you need a place to stay and money for basic necessities. Plan it out before you go; call your local social services agency. They could refer you to funding sources, housing possibilities, etc.

Call the Salvation Army. They do a lot of work helping women. Also there is the United Way. They have training programs, etc. Good luck to you. I wish you all the best that life has to offer.
