but i’m not even sure this is my calling - i’m not bad at it, i’m actually quite good… but i’m good at other things too.. i’m confused, unhappy and SICK of my life!!!!!!

maybe there’s something else you can do as a pastor. Go abroad and do charity work? Maybe you’ve just got itchy feet?

There’s nothing wrong with going out and doing something different with your life.. It doesn’t mean you will be less of a Christian. You can still live the word of God by doing something that you love, rather than preaching and not being happy.

If you don’t feel it is your call, then do something else. Your congregation seeks you out for advice and spiritual guidance. If you have doubts of your call, how can you be a guidance for peoples’ spiritual needs? Do what you think you want to do now and return to preaching when you know 100% it is your call.

what do you mean youre “good” at it?
good at what exactly? public speaking? giving sermons? counseling people?
all of those things you can do not as a pastor, i would have thought that defining yourself as “good” as a pastor would mean you thought you had a good relationship with your god, and asked him for guidance about these things.
