i have not seen my boyfriend in over a week

he’s in the military and lives over an hour away..so i mainly see him on weekends. he had watch yesterday, but was going to drive in to see me..well, an emergency happened. really, completely understandable. he couldn’t come.
what a let down..i was so happy that i was going to get to see him, i miss him so badly, after that all i could do was cry a bit on my way home that night. i’ve never done something like that before. i didn’t tell him because i didn’t want him to feel bad, it’s not his fault, but i knew he would.
So, i was going to meet him half way today…well, my right rear tire has been looking a little low, but, with a cousin getting married and yadda yadda, and me not driving it really these past couple of days, i just pushed it off. i go out there today to take a look..it was worse..and i found a screw in it. big o tires isn’t open on sunday’s here..So..i really don’t think i should be going a long distance with my car, so i’m going to have to cancel. if i had just looked i could have gotten it taken care of yesterday. but no. and now i won’t be able to see him. and i dont know when i’ll be able to see him next. its got me upset.. i’m crying as i write this..and i don’t know what has turned me all emotional all of a sudden.

the BIG problem, is that, well, he’s in the navy, he’ll go out on the ship..he wants to switch jobs, he’ll be gone for training..how the hell am i going to handle that without becoming a wreck? whats happened to me

C’mon don’t fret. Just text him or call him and let him know. Don’t ruin your day over this.

Just let him know you’re thinking about him. :)

Try not to think about all the single women aboard… women in military equals disaster.

It’s his job and that means he may be taken away from home for long periods of time. My daughter lives at home with me… her partner is in the British Army… in Afghanstan right now…. she has to battle with the thought he may never come back daily…. and on top of that she has to keep her spirits up when she speaks to him… she doesn’t want him worrying about her when he’s trying to do his job… I have to watch her cry over missing him… but they will get through it… eventually. But if you can’t handle it now before he has even been sent anywhere i think you need to speak to him…. Get it out in the open.

you are too attached.
ATTACHMENT brings pain.
Occupy yourself with something you enjoy.
Life is supposed to be fun.

I know a Marine who was engaged to be married and sent to Iraq. He got a Mexican girl pregnant who was gaining her citizenship by serving in the Marines and she managed to get pregnant within two months and was sent home with full pay and benefits and citizenship and free housing. What a travesy. The illegal aliens have turned playing US taxpayers like puppets into an art form.
