Iv’e been bored constantly and i can’t find anything to do and myspace and facebook isn’t helping.

I’m getting very irritable over being bored. Any suggestions?

I’m having the same problems, except I despise myspace and facebook with all my soul and would like to see them destroyed. I’ve played just about every good PC game that I can discover existence to and am now just wasting my life away on help.com, infact, do that. Talk on help.com or go get some good games.

When that happens to me I usually research interesting topics online such as buddhism, wiccan, just anything I’m curious about….or watch a movie, read a book, play a videogame, write something, go for a walk there are many things you could do just depends on what you like.

I’ve been to like 5 wiccan meetings and my brothers wiccan wedding. They were fun. But anyways, go to youtube and watch random crap there. That should entertain ya.

If you are bored you are boring. Even a dimwit with a little bit of imagination can find something to occupy or cultivate their mind. Have you read all the great books? Learned a foreign language? Seen a great film and discussed its merits over coffee with a friend? Have you sat and wondered on the nature of boredom and how modern day ennui differs from previous centuries?
Have you started a novel? Read the paper? Gone to all the museums? When was the last time you were in New York or London or Shanghai or Rome for that matter? Thought about reading up on another culture, city or place?

I see this as a problem of modern childhood where children have failed to develop active imaginations through play. All their tech games and other activities are structured, so they cannot create imaginary worlds within their minds or think in 3D.

No imagination means you’re on a fast track to being a cog in a wheel. A follower not a leader. Start practicing the following. Hi, my name is Jeff. Welcome to Wal-Mart…

My recommendation: Don’t read that huge comment from anonymous. Only bastards post as anonymous… OH CRAP I’M ANONYMOUS!

Yeah, and aren’t you the Anonymous that didn’t know pulls, ropes and levers were technology.

Hey, I wouldn’t be listening to this Anonymous. I am the true Anonymous. Giver of knowledge. Look for my swirl of triangles with a circle in the middle - vaguely swastika symbol - when you seek the real deal.
