Just sit him down and tell him. Just tell him that your ready for it. You may not be ready for it but maybe he is not ready. Just talk to him about it.

Ok how old are you? Hopefully you are old enough to make the right decision and if something happens to go wrong you can handle yourself the right way, or if you get pregnant you will be able to support yourself and the child. If you say you are 16 and live at home, get real I’m a mother and I’m 27 and life is hell I wouldn’t trade it for the world but I can also take on alot more responsibility than someone half my age can.
If you are of 18 or older hey more power to you for holding out until then you should be mature enough to let him know you are ready.

I’m not trying to sound like a ***** but I’ve got ALOT of young friends I know several who got pregnant at 14 and ended up realizing that they made a huge mistake. They love their kids but they didn’t even know what life was themselves and missed out on alot in life because they were busy between school, kids, and work (since their mothers kicked them out and I give kudo’s to them no mother should have to raise a child and a grandchild in their home) they got a huge dose of reality quick. Truth be told if my daughter comes home at a young age and says mom I’m pregnant I’ll help her find a lovely apartment she can afford and a job and tell her good luck call me if you need parenting advice, you made the decision now live with it.
