I’m getting a new computer.

I will be using it for games and video editing. What is the best graphics card to get?

hmmm That depends on how much your planning on spending. What is your budget?

I can spend up to $500.00 extra for a better graphics card. I’m looking at spending around $1200.00 for the tower with all I want in it. I am getting the tower only and my prices are in Canadian dollars. Any help would be great. I just need to know what I should be looking for here. I’m not sure if the person I was talking to in the store was trying to sell me on something that isn’t as good as I want.

An i5… the motherboard is a newer top line one. I’m at work so don’t have the name here with me. I know the brand is ASUS for the motherboard and the same for the video card they are trying to sell me on.

no GO with Ati Radeon. They are the top of the line. If you dont like those go with GForce. They are the next step down. If you go with ATI, try out they’re 4000 series, like the ARI Radeon HD 4870… its a monster, but you need atleast a gig of memory to run it
