Looking for a book I used to read as a kid.

In it a boy is playing in the front yard, possibly in an astronaut suit, then it starts to rain. He goes into this haunted house and helps the ghosts look for the lost gold. When they are unable to find it, the boys goes to leave. They hand him an umbrella and when it opens up he is showered with the lost gold. Sound familliar? I cannot remember the title of this book. Any help, I’d appreciate it
